The Passover meal had been celebrated every year for centuries leading up to the Last Supper in Matthew’s Gospel. We consider why this meal was so important and how Jesus is the fulfilment of this incredibly powerful feast.
The Kingdom of God is to invade our lives and impact our world. As we surrender to King Jesus and give Him what we have, He gives us so much more in return! In Isaiah 61, we begin to see the great exchange that He has for us!
The Bible clearly states time and again the significance and value of fasting. Jesus describes it as a ‘Kingdom Basic’ in Matthew 6:16-18. We consider why we need to fast, how to fast the right way, and the amazing impact fasting will have in us and the world around us!
