The Hallmark of Jesus

About this message

In this message, Greg explores the three hallmarks used to verify genuine precious metals—the Maker’s Mark (whose name stands behind it), the Purity Mark (what’s inside), and the Assay Mark (has it been tested and proven)—and shows how Jesus exemplified all three perfectly, carrying the Father’s identity, living in complete purity and obedience, and emerging victorious through every trial and temptation, including Gethsemane and the cross. Through vulnerable personal stories of job loss, financial struggle, and God’s faithful provision, Greg reveals that we’re called not just to admire these hallmarks in Jesus but to carry them ourselves—bearing the Father’s name through authentic faith, developing Christ-like character through the Holy Spirit’s transformation, and allowing our testing and trials to reveal genuine faith rather than hide it away. As you listen, hear Greg’s challenge: When the pressure comes and life tests you, what comes out—anger, pride, fear, or the fruit of the Spirit? Will you ask God to search your heart and transform you from the inside out, so that people around you see the authentic hallmarks of Jesus in your life?
