The Bible is a very honest book. Habakkuk openly questions God’s care in the light of severe hardship and persecution. We all face challenges that may even cause us to question God. This is fine as long as we then follow Habakkuk’s example by positioning ourselves to hear what God has to say!

God wants His Church to experience consistent growth, progress and momentum. He makes the first move, but what matters most is always ‘What Happens Next?’ How do we respond? What do we do? Will we be satisfied with special moments… or will we press-on to sensational momentum?

In Isaiah 35 God speaks of a progressive revival that leads to restoration. We learn that we are to be (and how to become) a people of courage, conviction, consecration and celebration. That a community who live this out will pull on God and bring about restoration in the earth and beyond!

When we meet Jesus, our lives are transformed! In Luke 18:35-19:10, we read the accounts of two seemingly very different men; yet both were blinded in their own way, both desperate to meet with Jesus and changed as a result of encountering Him. We learn how we too can encounter Jesus for ourselves!

We were ‘Created for Covenant’ – to enjoy the love which the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have shared together for eternity. In this message we consider how Covenant formed the cradle of creation; we step back to see it as the unstoppable wave of God’s purpose through world history, and look ahead to understand how it also holds the key to our future, maturing into our God-intended true potential as His children, within our Covenant relationship with Him.

We look at how the covenants God establishes with His people throughout the bible all reveal something of His incredible nature!

From Genesis to Revelation, God has expressed and unfolded His purposes on the basis of ‘covenant’. With Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David and now through the ‘new covenant’, He has drawn men, families, and nations into a bond and relationship with Himself – He makes, keeps and empowers covenant! This message introduces the great biblical covenants and shows us that, in all His dealings with mankind, God expresses His loyalty, commitment and faithfulness towards us through his unfailing covenant-love.

The Bible warns us “do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your forefathers” (Pr 22:28). Yet, when it comes to some of the ‘boundary stones’ provided by the Word of God – doctrines and teachings that have given the Church certainty and security for centuries – we find ourselves living in times when waves of heresy and false doctrine are rolling in and boundary stones are being moved. This new series will put the anchor down firmly, as we take a fresh look at what the Bible says concerning some of the key issue of our day, including marriage, prosperity, heaven and hell, restoration and the Bride of Christ…

Our God-given mandate is to reach out to the Harvest; as a REFUGE for the Needy, to REFRESH the Weary, to RESTORE the Broken and to REDIRECT the Lost. In this message we look at what it means for us to know God as OUR REFUGE. Only then can we offer what we have to others – A Refuge from SIN that holds creation in bondage, the SHIFTING SANDS of the world and the SECRETS of men. Like the Cities of Refuge from the Old Testament God wants us to be accessible, prominent and prepared.

The entire Christian faith rests on the resurrection of Jesus Christ! His coming back to life, makes a way for all people to find the way back to life through faith in Him. In the story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15, we see just how the cross opened the way for us all to come back into relationship with our heavenly Father and find everlasting life!

God’s House, the covenant of God’s people and how we reach God’s world are three very important things. If we continually increase the way we think about these things, viewing them more and more in the way that God does, then seeing the world transformed will be inevitable.

As we celebrate and honour our mums on Mothering Sunday, we look at the incredible influence of five Godly mothers in Bible, and see how they shape the lives of their children.

In the opening chapters of Joshua, God’s people are told to get their supplies ready for crossing into the land He’s promised them – a place they’ve never been to before. In Genesis ch 1 we discover that the universe was created for the earth, the earth was created for the man, and the man was created for God and His purposes – which was to see the man multiplying so that the earth would be filled with God’s people and glory! Everything was designed to enable the man to succeed, and to remind us in 2015 that our environment is conducive to huge growth and expansion this year!…

The story of Israel and the Golden Calf is one of the most absurd events in the nation’s history. Why would a people who were powerfully loved, rescued and provided for by the Living God stop short of following him into all the blessings he had for them, and choose to bow down to a cow-statue instead? Jesus Christ is our all-sufficient saviour and his promises for us are beyond compare. Let’s not stop short of moving in to all that he has and allow ourselves to be distracted by the things that compete with him for 1st place in our heart.

The Kingdom of God is to invade our lives and impact our world. As we surrender to King Jesus and give Him what we have, He gives us so much more in return! In Isaiah 61, we begin to see the great exchange that He has for us!

God has called each and every one of us to rise and take the land. Just like Joshua we are called to lay hold of God’s promises, never giving up and never wasting a single moment! Be strong and courageous as God uses you to do mighty things for Him!

Jesus said ‘I no longer call you slaves… Now you are my friends…’ The body of Christ, more than ever, is in need of friendship. People that you can call friends. Keri Jones encourages us in the importance of having true friends that stick closer than a brother.

When Jesus teaches about basic Christian lifestyles in the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6), the first item on his agenda (before prayer or fasting) is ‘giving’ (Mt 6:1-4) – that should tell us how much this matters! This message explores what it means to be ‘A Giver’, how this perspective transforms our giving to God and to others, and how the Lord ‘rewards’ us when we’re faithful and generous in our giving.
